Taking this one down a slightly different tack, the song with the longest title is "I'm a Cranky Old Yank in a Clanky Old Tank on the Streets of Yokohama with my Honolulu Mama Doin’ Those Beat-o, Beat-o Flat-On-My-Seat-o, Hirohito Blues" written by Hoagy Carmichael in 1945.
He later claimed the song title should have ended with "Yank" and the rest was a joke that got out of hand.

The Longest UK Top 40 Album Title "My People Were Fair and Had Sky in Their Hair, But Now They're Content to Wear Stars on Their Brows" (78 letters - spaces and punctuation don't count) by T Rex.

I'm really liking "SHINE ON YOU CRAZY DIAMOND 1 - 7" by Pink Floyd right now!
